When I stumbled across a reference photo of this gorgeous model with a scarf draped over her head, I simply had to paint it! She didn’t have horns, of course, but I thought she’d make a good tiefling queen. I was playing with desaturated colors, so I painted this whole piece in black and white, then added the blue and red later to make it pop. Perks of digital painting: it’s super easy to overlay a new color and completely change the image! Again, I love bright splashes of color in a dark picture.
